Hurray, hurray, today is the 9th of May! Thus can we expect that the gospel of Matthew shed some light on today. He said that,
“Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9
What can we learn from his admonition telling us to be peacemakers! Did he mean that we ourselves should be at peace with ourselves, did he mean that we should help make peace available to those without it thus helping them to be reconciled with each other? Is he telling us that we ourselves should first be reconciled to God and thus to be able truly to be a a peacemaker?
We at SOR Mission at attempting through our PEACE Plan to help reconcile the church to each other and then to be a reconciled community of believers throughout the community with a mission of reconciliation. What a calling and what a joy!
