May 1, 2013 – the day of the worker in Latin America

Today in Honduras we celebrated the day of the worker. This is normally not a holiday in Canada or the US. Today we also celebrated the completion of the church addition that was begun on April 12th. This picture shows the completed addition with several of our team in front to join the celebration. We will post more pictures soon of the project. Congratulations to Bruce, Dewey, Chris and Bill who did a tremendous job is such a short time.
Your prayers are needed to fill the sanctuary with people to fill the vacant chairs that will await them. Also prayer for the children’s ministry on the bottom floor that will add more space for the church’s feeding program along with its daily children’s program.You can read more about May 1st on the Today page on this website.
