This past week I have been praying and seeking God as to how I can help a certain group of people using the gifts God has given me to bring glory to his name. This is what we do at SOR Mission. Our purpose is to help connect human need with God’s divine resource. His resources come in many sizes and shapes.
Mordecai in the book of Esther in the Old Testament spoke to Queen Esther concerning this very subject. Have I been placed where I am for a divine purpose. I would reply yes. Its our responsiblity to seek out what that purpose actually is.Â
You might wonder what your particular purpose is on this earth? We too have thought through these questions and after discovering the gifts he’s given us we left home to serve the Lord in another culture and language. Its been a joy to be where God wants us to be. Its a greater joy to be used for his highest calling.
