What motivates a missionary?

So where does my motivation come from to serve God in another part of the world away from my familiar culture, family and friends?  What does a missionary go to serve others, often times at great personal expense?  The Apostle Paul mentions to us that with him it was a matter of where his priorities were and what he considered reality.  Paul stated that, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”I Corinthians 4:18 (NIV) Nate Saint a faith missionary, like us, was quoted as saying some time before he was martyered in the jungles of  Ecuador in the 1950’s,  “No man is a fool to give up what he can’t keep to gain what he can’t lose”   I guess that is why we serve and also why we  serve as missionaries.  Others on our team are going without to serve with us in Central America.  I pray for their financial support.  Continue to pray and support as you can this ministry.
